This event featured England's Shotokan Karate Union against some of Europe's best. The action is fast and furious and very hard. In view of the dynamic kumite; there were relatively few serious injuries; but there were many knock downs. The kata was also of the highest standard; and overall the event was a model of hard; precise combat; but with sportsmanship that can only be described as excellent.
