Shihan Mikio Nishiushi was born on the Island of Shikoku in Japan. The young Nishiushi started studying the way of sword drawing at an early age, but soon moved on to Karate-Do and later to the study of Wado-Ryu. Volume 1 features Shihan Nishiushi teaching a series of principle sword movements through a variation of sitting positions. He also demonstrates the eight principal cuts. Shihan Nishiushi next proceeds to present the various important moves, including Han Za Han Mi, Dai and Sho. Digitally remastered from the original Century/Panther Productions instructional video.
